MONOETHANOLAMINE is obtained from the reaction between ammonia and ethylene oxide. MONOETHANOLAMINE, has a low volatility at room temperature, is hygroscopic, presents an ammoniac odor and can appear in solid or liquid form depending on the temperature and the purity grade.
